Armenian civil society organizations Aliq Media and Public Journalism Club are starting a cooperation project with experts from WatchDog.MD Community (Republic of Moldova) and European Union Member States on information resilience, forming a hub to fight information manipulations via building civic networks for societal resilience in Armenia.

The project will support independent experts representing various civil society organizations and academia in Armenia in establishing a more comprehensive presence in mass media and digital platforms. Increased visibility of independent analytical voices will contribute to countering disinformation, raise awareness on democratic society building, and enable Armenian people to make informed decisions and choices.

To support the above-mentioned aim, the project will create the “Civil Society StratCom Hub” encompassing multiple activities through which civil society organizations and experts from Armenia will contribute to the dissemination of accurate and reliable information, as well as high-quality expertise and analysis that is valuable for the Armenian information space.

The project will establish an accessible framework to support the public communication and press relations of beneficiary organizations and experts.

The project is funded by the European Union as part of its broader efforts to support societal awareness and resilience in Armenia.
