2026․ New Democracy Fund
With financial support from the New Democracy Fund, the Public Journalism Club, in partnership with International Alert and LIVKOM, is implementing the “BRIDGE – Building Relations, Inclusive Dialogue through Genuine Empathy“ project.

2026․ EU Delegation in Armenia
The Public Journalism Club, in cooperation with the Delegation of the European Union to Armenia, has launched the “EU–Armenia Strategic Partnership and Visa Liberalization Dialogue“ project.
As part of the project, a two-day seminar was organized for 11 journalists representing 10 media outlets in Armenia. Following the seminar, the participating journalists produced evidence-based media content related to the project’s theme.

In partnership with the Democracy Development Foundation, and as part of the “Partnership for Democracy Initiative,” the Public Journalism Club is implementing the “Media Center: Rapid Civil Society Response for Fair Elections“ project.

2025-2026․ Black Sea Trust for Regional Cooperation – a project of the German Marshall Fund of the United States
The Public Journalism Club implements “Learning from Moldova: Building Armenia’s Democratic Resilience” project supported by Black Sea Trust for Regional Cooperation – a project of the German Marshall Fund of the United States.
2025․ Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Estonia
The Public Journalism Club implemented “Mapping and Countering Disinformation in Armenia Ahead of the 2026 Elections: Learning from Estonia” project supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Estonia.
2025. Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic
The Public Journalism Club implemented the project “Assisting independent media and CSOs in enhancing the access to reliable information on the European Union and EU enlargement on social media in Armenia” within the framework of a grant provided Transformation Promotion Programme of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic. The lead organization of the project was EUROPEUM Institute for European Policy.
2025․ European Union
From February to July 2025, the Public Journalism Club implemented the project “Media for Reform: Engaging Public Dialogue on Penitentiary and Probation Systems” with the financial support of the European Union. The project partners are Social Justice NGO and Civil Society institute NGO within the scope of the ‘’Justice Reform Monitoring in Armenia’’ (#JUREMONIA www.juremonia.am) project’s sub granting.
2023-2026. European Commission
Since May 2023, the Public Journalism Club has been implementing the project “Professional Media, Practitioners and Grassroots Joining Forces for Dialogue” with the financial support of the European Commission. The project partner is International Alert. The project is scheduled to run until May 2026.
2021-2025. Open Society Foundations – Armenia, Democracy Development Foundation
Since December 2021, the Public Journalism Club has implemented the “Integrity of Justice Reforms” project in three phases with the financial support of the OSF-Armenia and Democracy Development Foundation (DDF).
The project was carried out until February 2025 by the DDF led Consortium (OSF-Armenia before 2022) , which included the Public Journalism Club, the Helsinki Citizens’ Assembly Vanadzor Office, and the “Protection of Rights without Borders” NGO.
2013-2025․ Open Society Foundations – Armenia, Democracy Development Foundation
From March 2013 to June 2025, the Public Journalism Club has implemented the “Media Center” project with the financial support of Open Society Foundations–Armenia and the Democracy Development Foundation (DDF).
2024-2025․ U.S. Embassy in Armenia
From October 2024 to January 2025, the Public Journalism Club implemented the project “Combating Disinformation and Strengthening Democracy Through Information Integrity” with the financial support of the U.S. Embassy in Armenia.
The project was originally planned to run until September 2025; however, it was terminated following an executive order by U.S. President Donald Trump.
2024-2025. United States Agency for International Development (USAID)
From January 2024 to January 2025, the Public Journalism Club implemented the project “Mental Health Support to Media Workers in Armenia” which was part of the Media Program in Armenia funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). The lead implementing organization of the program was Internews in Armenia.
The project was originally planned to run until December 2025; however, it was terminated following an executive order issued by U.S. President Donald Trump.
2023-2024. European Union
The Public Journalism Club has implemented “Translation and Localization of the ”Online Zoo” Children’s Book and Media Literacy Guide for Teachers” project with the financial support of the European Union.
2023-2024․ U.S. Embassy in Armenia
From October 2023 to December 2024, the Public Journalism Club, in cooperation with the Armenian General Benevolent Union (AGBU) Armenia Office, implemented the “Hack2Check: Media and Information Literacy Hackathon” project with financial support from the U.S. Department of State’s Public Diplomacy Section.
The project partners included the American University of Armenia (AUA) and the Enterprise Incubator Foundation with its Gyumri and Vanadzor Technology Centers.
2014-2024․ European Union
Since 2014, the Public Journalism Club has been a participant in the “Support to the Armenia-Turkey Normalization Process” project. Funded by the European Union, the project has been implemented in three phases by a Consortium composed of eight organizations from Armenia and Turkey, with the Eurasia Partnership Foundation serving as the lead organization.
The organizations involved in the implementation of the project were: Eurasia Partnership Foundation, Civilitas Foundation, Public Journalism Club, and the Regional Studies Center from Armenia; and Anadolu Kültür, the Economic Policy Research Foundation of Turkey (TEPAV), the Helsinki Citizens’ Assembly (hCa), and the Hrant Dink Foundation from Turkey.
From January 1, 2023, to December 31, 2024, the same Consortium has been implementing a follow-up initiative titled “Support to the Armenia-Turkey Normalization Process: Rapid Response.”
2023-2024․ European Endowment for Democracy (EED)
From November 1, 2023, to January 31, 2024, the Public Journalism Club, in cooperation with the Media Initiatives Center, implemented the project “Emergency Support to Media Content Creators Forcibly Displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh” with financial support from the European Endowment for Democracy (EED).
2022-2023․ U.S. Embassy in Armenia
From October 2022 to October 2023, the Public Journalism Club implemented the project “Media and Information Literacy in Early Childhood Education” with financial support from the Public Diplomacy Section of the U.S. Department of State.
The project partners included the “Step by Step” Foundation (SBS), Teaching Academy company, “National Center for Education Development and Innovation” Foundation, “Heqiateren” interactive theater.

From November 1, 2021, to June 30, 2023, the Public Journalism Club implemented the “Media and Information Literacy Accelerator” project with financial support from the Public Diplomacy Section of the U.S. Department of State.
2021-2022․ U.S. Embassy in Armenia
From December 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022, the Public Journalism Club, in cooperation with the Freedom of Information Center, implemented the project “Building Disinformation Resilience in CSO and Local Government Ecosystems” with the financial support of the U.S. Embassy in Armenia.
2021-2022. International Republican Institute
From September 1, 2021, to January 31, 2022, the Public Journalism Club implemented the “Covid-19 Reflection” project with the financial support of the International Republican Institute.
2021․2022․ United States Agency for International Development
From June 2021 to June 2022, the Public Journalism Club, in collaboration with the “Armavir Development Center” NGO, “Prisma” Research Company, and the “Center for Rights Development” NGO, jointly formed a consortium entitled “Labor Rights” and implemented the project “The improvement process of data-driven policies in the sphere of labor rights” funded by the United States Agency for International Development.
The project was implemented in the framework of “Data for Accountable and Transparent Action” (DATA) program, which was carried out by Eurasia Partnership Foundation (EPF) in consortium with SOCIES Expert Centre NGO (Socies), Boon TV Foundation (Boon TV), Youth Cooperation Center of Dilijan NGO (YCCD) and Sose Women Issues NGO (Sose).
2021․ Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania to the Republic of Armenia / Lithuanian Development Cooperation
From July-October 2021, the Public Journalism Club implemented the project “Regional CSOs Against Disinformation” funded by the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania to the Republic of Armenia / Lithuanian Development Cooperation.
2020-2021․ European Endowment for Democracy (EED)
From December 31, 2020 to May 31, 2021, the Public Journalism Club implemented the “Rapid Response Fund Initiative” project funded by the European Endowment for Democracy (EED).
Within the framework of the project, a coordinating Consortium was formed, which included the Media Initiative Center, the Yerevan Press Club, the Freedom of Information Center, the Committee to Protect Freedom of Expression, and the Media Diversity Institute – Armenia.
2020-2021. Open Society Foundations-Armenia Organization
In 2020-2021, the Public Journalism Club implemented the “Covid-19: Rapid Response” program with financial support from the Open Society Foundations – Armenia.

From January to October 2020, the Public Journalism Club implemented the project “Fact-Checking Capacity Building of Journalists from Armenia and Azerbaijan” funded by the U.S. Embassy in Armenia.
2019-2020. Black Sea Trust for Regional Cooperation
From June, 2019 to April 2020, the Public Journalism Club implemented the “Establishment of Fact Checking Network” project funded by the Black Sea Trust for Regional Cooperation, a project of the German Marshal Fund.
2018-2020. Open Society Foundations - Armenia
The Public Journalism Club implemented the “Human Rights in Armenia” project with the support of the Open Society Foundations-Armenia.
2018-2019. European Union
The Public Journalism Club implemented the “Unheard Voices” project which was part of International Alert’s work on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
The project was funded by the European Union within the framework of the “European Partnership for the Peaceful Resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh Conflict” (EPNK) initiative.

The Public Journalism Club and the Turkish Economic Policy Research Foundation (TEPAV) implemented the “Technology Without Borders: Yerevan-Ankara” project funded by the U.S. Embassy in Armenia.
2015. Open Society Foundations-Armenia Organization
With the support of the Open Society Foundations-Armenia, the Public Journalism Club is preparing a documentary film that will present the events of June 23 (2015). The film tells about the actions of the police to clear Baghramyan Avenue from protesters fighting against the increase in electricity tariffs and the developments of that day. The film is based on interviews with participants of the demonstration, human rights defenders, and archival materials.
2015. U.S. Embassy in Armenia
Within the framework of a small grant from the Democracy Commission of the United States Embassy in Armenia, the Public Journalism Club is launching the “Youth Initiate and Inform” program.
The goal of the project is to involve high school students from two administrative districts of Yerevan (Davtashen and Ajapnyak) in proposing and implementing ideas to improve the socio-economic and cultural environment of their communities. To develop a sense of responsibility towards the community, initiative, and the ability to identify, present, and propose solutions to problems.
2015 – 2016. Open Society Foundations-Armenia and British Embassy in Yerevan
With the joint support of the Open Society Foundations-Armenia and the British Embassy in Yerevan, the Public Journalism Club is implementing a new phase of the “Media Center” project.

2013. Open Society Foundations-Armenia Organization
In April-May 2013, with the grant received from the Open Society Foundations-Armenia, the Public Journalism Club, within the framework of the “New Technologies for New Media and Public Journalism” program, promoted citizen journalism during election coverage through the My News mobile application. The My News mobile application created sections called “Local Elections 2013” and “Issues of Persons with Disabilities.” A two-day training was also held, within the framework of which the creation of infographics was presented.
2013. Counterpart International Inc. Armenian Representative Office
In December 2013, the Public Journalism Club, together with the Microsoft Innovation Center, organized the “Hackathon [YAN] Flight 2013” competition for innovative ideas, projects, and programming through a grant from Counterpart International Inc. Armenia.
2012-2013: US Embassy in Armenia Democracy Commission Small Grants Program
The “Public Journalism: Empowering Public Correspondents” project was implemented through the US Embassy Democracy Commission Small Grants Program, with the goal of promoting a culture of public reporting in Armenia, expanding and developing the knowledge of active members of society about public reporting and social media.
2012-2013. Open Society Foundations-Armenia Organization
Within the framework of the grant received from the Open Society Foundations-Armenia organization, the “New Technologies for the Benefit of New Media and Public Journalism” program was implemented, through which the Public Journalism Club organized 4 correspondent competitions on the “My News” platform, 4 discussion-meetings for specialists representing the information technology sector and representatives of the journalistic community, and 1 competition for news websites with a large cash prize.
The “My News” website also includes a “Question and Answer” (Q&A) section, where for six months, questions were collected from members of the public on a monthly basis on a specific topic or issue. The collected questions were grouped, sent to relevant officials and specialists, and the answers were published under each question.
2012. Counterpart International Inc. Armenian Representative Office
In December 2012, the Public Journalism Club, in collaboration with the Microsoft Innovation Center of Armenia, Microsoft AR, Enterprise Incubator Foundation, mLab ECA, and Sourcio, organized “Hackathon[YAN] 2012” is a competition for innovative ideas, projects and programming, the aim of which was to contribute to the development of various sectors in Armenia by introducing new technologies. “Hackathon[YAN]2012” was also made possible with the support of Counterpart International Armenia.
2012. Eurasia Partnership Foundation
Within the framework of the “Alternative Media Resources” program, through the Eurasia Partnership Foundation’s “Citizen Journalism through Facebook and Mobile Phones to the My News Platform” grant, the “Presidential Elections 2013” sections have been opened on the “My News” platform website, mobile applications, and Facebook page.

In March-May 2012, the HLA implemented the “Mobile Technologies for Informed Elections” project, which was funded through a grant provided by the Armenian office of Counterpart International Inc. It was co-funded within the framework of the Public Journalism Club’s 2011-2012 project “Public Journalism: Transforming the Process of News Consumption for Active Participation in Armenia.”
