“Media Center” was established in 2013 with the financial support of the Open Society Foundations–Armenia and a number of international partners and donors. Our main supporters have been the Open Society Foundations–Armenia and, following the cessation of its operations, the Democracy Development Foundation.
As a trusted platform for civil society and a rapid-response forum, “Media Center” organized 31 events between March and June.
The discussions addressed democratic processes in Armenia, including the transparency of the electoral system, hybrid threats, human rights protection, freedom of expression, education and science, as well as the role of civil society.
