Project funding: Democracy Development Foundation, in the frame of “Partnership for Safeguarding Democratic Integrity” project
Project implementer: Public Journalism Club
Implementation period: January-May, 2026
Total budget: 6 678 000 AMD
The aim of the project is to safeguard transparency, competitiveness and informed democratic participation ahead of Armenia’s 2026 parliamentary elections by restoring the Media Center as a trusted platform for rapid public deliberation and more effective civil society communication.
The restoration of Media Center will serve as a non-partisan, in high demand and publicly trusted platform that supports the advocacy mission of civil society.
In parallel, civil society organizations can publicize the results of their monitoring, present policy proposals, and publish evidence-based analyses.
The initiative aims to promote effective communication on electoral processes with the participation of CSOs on behalf of electoral transparency, competitiveness, informed and effective democratic participation and the protection of democratic values and reforms.
Based on the project, live discussions, interviews, and press conferences on the “Media Center” platform will be organized and broadcasted, which will address risks related to electoral processes and key democratic issues emerging during the elections, contributing to their raising.
