More than 20 students and young entrepreneurs from Armenia and Turkey representing the ICT sector will participate in the “Technology without Borders conference to be held in Ankara. Yerevan-Ankara“ project.
In the first phase of the project (October-November), students and startup representatives will be selected through an open competition in Armenia and Turkey to participate in the acceleration program in Ankara.
A four-day course will be held in Ankara from November 29 to December 4, which will provide participants with the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the main stages of proposing and implementing innovative ideas using technology. Each day of the course will be dedicated to one stage, namely Idea Day, Technology Solution Day, Promotion Day and Networking Day, during which participants will have the opportunity to visit leading ICT centers, organizations, and educational institutions in Ankara.
In the phase following the course, the most interested and active teams/individual participants will have the opportunity refine their ideas through a one-month online mentoring consultation and then present them to experts, thus also acquiring startup idea presentation (pitch) skills.

The project is implemented by Public Journalism Club (HLA) and Turkish Economic Policy Research Foundation (TEPAV) The US Embassy in Armenia funded the Acceleration Course. The Turkish Viveka Incubation Center will host the Acceleration Course. The Enterprise Incubator Foundation, Union of Information Technology Enterprises, and Bet Construct will support the project in Armenia.
The project is a follow-up to the Armenia-Turkey “Technologies without Borders” project, within the framework of which 6 startup teams from both countries participated in the acceleration program in Armenia at the Microsoft Innovation Center. This project was co-financed by the US Embassy in Armenia and the European Union.
