Armenia has launched reforms aimed at achieving the final outcome of visa liberalization with the EU. The first assessment report has already been submitted to Armenia. While official Yerevan has begun implementing reforms, Armenian citizens are waiting to see when they will be able to travel to Europe without unnecessary procedures. Meanwhile, irregular migrants in European countries are unsettled and uncertain about what will happen to them. In official Armenian platforms, it is understood that readmission or return to Armenia is the expected process. It is important to emphasize that visa liberalization applies only to travel to EU countries for tourism purposes.
The journalist and presenter of Public Radio of Armenia, Hasmik Dilanyan, presents information gathered from numerous interlocutors on migration and visa-related issues in the format of a radio program.

The initiatives have been implemented within the framework of the “EU–Armenia Strategic Partnership and Visa Liberalization Dialogue” program, implemented jointly by the Public Journalism Club and the Delegation of the European Union to Armenia.
It should be noted that on March 26–27 of this year, Hasmik Dilanyan participated in a two-day seminar in Aghveran under the same program title. Within the framework of the seminar, 11 representatives of Armenian media outlets met with Vassilis Maragos, Ambassador of the European Union to Armenia, as well as ambassadors and consuls of EU member states and representatives of Armenian state institutions, to discuss the progress of EU–Armenia cooperation, including visa-related issues.
