“Safety advisory publication/policy for newsrooms and journalists working in high-risk environments” and “Tools ensuring the safety of journalists”

In the international law, several documents have a framework significance in the matter of ensuring the safety of journalists and are called to provide favorable conditions for a safe environment. Here are those documents: The Universal Declaration of Human Rights, Geneva Conventions (the Geneva Conventions are collectively called the four treaties and three additional protocols that set international law standards for humanitarian treatment in war), the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, the UN Commission on Human Rights 2005 Resolution /81, UN Security Council Resolution 1738 (2006).
