PJC Representative Participates in Study Visit of Armenian Think Tanks to Brussels

From October 21–23, David Amiryan, representing the Public Journalism Club (PJC), participated in a study visit to Brussels as part of a delegation of Armenian think tanks. The visit was organised within the framework of the EU-funded project “Bridging Knowledge and Policy: Strengthening Armenian Think Tanks for Enhanced EU Engagement and Regional Cooperation,” implemented by the German organisation Particip GmbH.

During the visit, the Armenian delegation met with representatives of leading European institutions and think tanks, including the European Policy Centre (EPC), the Centre for European Policy Studies (CEPS), the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Enlargement and Eastern Neighbourhood (DG ENEST), the European Parliament, the Egmont – Royal Institute for International Relations, Bruegel, IRSEM-Europe, and the European External Action Service (EEAS).

The meetings addressed a range of issues, including prospects for further developing EU–Armenia relations, regional peace and security, regional connectivity, European integration, and ongoing reforms in Armenia.

Particular attention was also given to the role of think tanks in policymaking, opportunities to translate research and expert knowledge into policy, and prospects for strengthening cooperation between Armenian and European research institutions.

The visit provided Armenian experts with an opportunity to engage directly with European institutions and think tanks, exchange perspectives and expertise, establish professional connections, and explore avenues for future cooperation.

PJC’s participation in such initiatives contributes to expanding its international professional networks, strengthening dialogue with European partners, and enhancing its engagement in expert discussions on political and societal developments relevant to Armenia.
